Modern Slavery Act 2015 Statement
The Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires businesses of a certain size to publish a slavery and human trafficking statement each financial year and to highlight their efforts, and to address issues, if any, within their own business and supply chain.
As a modern, global company, Landmark expects the highest ethical standards of its officers and employees and we are committed to establishing and constantly striving to improve, systems and processes to avoid being associated with human rights violations, both within our operations and across all of our companies.
During 2019, we will review our relationships to verify that our partners commit to observing best practice when it comes to anti-slavery and human trafficking and that they are in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Within our own businesses, Landmark will instigate training to ensure that all our individuals are aware of the provision of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the wider issues around slavery and human trafficking. While this training is not currently mandatory, all individuals are encouraged to undertake it.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It is directly applicable to our 2019 financial year but it will also constitute Landmark’s Modern Slavery Act 2015 Statement for future years until such time as it is modified, renewed or removed from our website.
Whistleblowing Policy
In order for Landmark to maintain its reputation for integrity and professionalism, it is important to that people across our companies feel able to raise concerns about workplace issues (e.g. malpractice, non-compliance with legal or regulatory requirements or Company policies). This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.
Our procedures are designed to allow individuals to raise concerns in the knowledge that they will be heard and, where necessary, acted upon, and where acted in good faith, the employee will not suffer any detriment.
